How to Hire Party Professionals

Questions to ask photographer before you hire him:

~ For how long have you been shooting Bar Mitzvahs?

~ Are you familiar with customs and traditions?

~ Have you ever shot a Bar Mitzvah at our venue location before? How did it work out?

~ Are you the actual photographer who will be shooting at the Bar Mitzvah. If not, will i meet my photographer before the party?

~ Is your Bar Mitzvah the only event the photographer will be shooting that day?
~ What is style? Traditional, photojournalistic?

~ Do you shoot digitally or on film?

~ What kind of equipment will the photographer be using? Will the lighting be intrusive to the guest?

~ Can you give photographer list of photo shots you want?

~ Do you use an assistant? Is there an extra charge for this?

~ What time will you arrive and how long will you stay?
~ Should the event last longer than scheduled, will you stay? Will there be an extra charge?
~ How long after the event will you have the photos ready?

~ Do you do photo touch up? If so, will there be extra charge and how much?
~ Do you have liability insurance?
~ Do we get the disc with all the high res photos and what is the charge?
~ Do we sign a contract?

~ What is included in my package?
~ Is a deposit required? If so, how much?
~ When is the full payment due?
~ Are there any additional charges not mentioned? (i.e. travel)
~ What are the refunds/cancellation terms?
